"blumenspiel" is produced by the renowned tin foundry De Tingieterij in Alphen, the Netherlands.
Once again RaR manages to combine history, nature and art into magical objects. As battles can be imitated with these soldiers, endless field bouquets can be created with these flowers. All flowers have different sizes and stand on a pedestal, referring to the former tin soldiers. The front and back are accurately detailed, as if they came from a herbarium. The poppy, cornflower, Solomon's seal, March violet and coltsfoot are transformed into elongated and flat shapes and seem to defy the rules of gravity. RaR (Beate Reinheimer & Ulrike Rehm) translated five images by graphic designer Frits Kredel (1900) from “Das Kleine Blumenbuch” into three-dimensional work. If you are left handed, order the 'Left Hand' version. The Charging Horn will be on the left side of the pistol. PLEASE NOTE WHILE ORDERING THE LONG OR SHORT HORN VERSIONS: If you are right handed, order the 'Right Hand' version. The winners of this poetry competition were awarded a gold or silver flower: a violet, wild rose, marigold, amaranth or lily. No-Horn This is basically a nubbed down version to give you more to grasp when pulling the slide back. The inspiration for this series of tin flowers comes from the oldest literary society in Europe, Jeux Floraux from France ( 1323). Some songs also have keyboard parts with them. Trombone part is also provided in B flat treble and in concert C bass clef.
All horn chart arrangements have flexible parts comprising trumpet, alto sax, and tenor sax or trombone (or both). 227 “blumenspiel”, designed by RaR, consists of five flowers, made in tin. Three smaller sets are made in an edition of 99.
The full series has been produced in a limited and numbered edition of 10. The collection consists of three tall porcelain trees combined with ‘fungi’ and is glazed in half-transparant green.

Rehm( 1976) graduated at the same Academy 25 years later and has finished her master study at the Sandberg Institute Amsterdam in 2011. Her ceramic work has been exhibited all over the world and is included in the permanent collection of Boymans van Beuningen Rotterdam and Centraal Museum Utrecht.
